Believe In Yourself is a digital journal dedicated to the art of becoming who you were meant to be. Here you'll find essays and practical guides on affirmations, meditation, yoga, and the quiet daily practices that compound into extraordinary change.

This isn't about toxic positivity or ignoring life's difficulties. It's about building an intentional inner world — one that supports the outer life you're working toward. Every article is written with care, grounded in research where possible, and always focused on what you can actually do today.

Who writes this?

I'm Armando Jimenez, a software engineer from Puerto Rico. My journey into wellness practices started before Hurricane Maria hit the island in 2017. When the storm knocked out power for three months, the daily practices I'd been building (affirmations, meditation, journaling) became the only tools I had left. No phone, no internet, no distractions. Just a notebook and the decision to keep showing up for myself even when everything around me was falling apart.

Those months changed me. The 369 method helped me manifest a higher-paying software engineering career. Daily affirmations kept me grounded when hopelessness would have been the easier choice. I eventually started building apps to share these practices with others: Believe, Better Tomorrow, and Monea.

This blog is where I share what I've learned through years of personal practice: the techniques that actually work, the science behind them, and the honest truth about what it takes to change your thinking.
